THIS IS FOR YOU!
Commit to a dedicated creative work session once weekly for eight weeks and see what arises! We will spend time both bringing ourselves into internal reflective practices, as well as creating on our own and sharing with colleagues across the group.
The Creative Cohort intensive offers guidance, accountability, structure, direction and space for those who are ready to develop a creative project that is asking to be born.
Are you ready to:
Finally write that script?
Develop a new monologue for performance?
Create or restructure choreography?
Design plans for costumes, set or lighting ideas?
Experiment with improvisation?
Finish composing your song for performance?
Throughout the course we will engage with a weekly accessible group movement warm-up, generative compositional exercises and prompts, and solo work time, with occasional sessions that include workshopping and sharing material with one another. Multiple spaces will be used around the Flynn to enhance productive solo rehearsal/work time. For those who are interested, you will be invited to share your solo creations with the public in an informal FlynnSpace showcase proceeding the final session.
